Clubs and Districts offer scholarships for secondary, undergraduate, or graduate study. These scholarships can be supported with funds raised locally or with Rotary Foundation district or global grants.
In 2024 The Rotary Club of Astoria awarded $10,000 to graduating high school seniors.
Over the years, The Rotary Club of Astoria members have volunteered their time cooking and serving meals at the Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood, and Wine Festival to raise money for greater community impact.
Rotary Youth Exchange inspires young leaders to serve as catalysts for peace and social justice in their local communities and throughout the world, long after their exchanges end. This program is possible because of the dedication, leadership, and passion of the tens of thousands of volunteers — Rotary members and nonmembers alike — who make this unique program so successful.
The Rotary Club of Astoria has "adopted" the stretch of Highway between the Astoria Round-about and Williamsport Road Rotarians and family members meet quarterly early in the morning gather and bag as much trash as they can over a two hour period.
We are proud to partner with the Astoria Nordic Heritage Park Association to keep the beautiful park clean for many to visit and enjoy.
